  1. Gary, sounds wonderful. We had
    Ham
    Ekridge sausage
    Pinto beans
    Green Bean Casserole
    Mashed Potatoes
Green Salad with all the condiments
    Broccoli and Rice Casserole
    Deviled Eggs
    Pigs in the Blanket
    Homemade Salsa
    A hot Spinach Dip
    Hot Rolls
    Desserts were
    Chocolate Fudge one pan
    with pecans and one without
    Pecan pie
    Chocolate Cream Pie
    Pumpkin Pie with cool whip
    Crock pot fudge with peanuts
    Peanut Butter Balls
    Chocolate Shearh Cake

Talk about good it was and probably gained a lot of pounds. LOL

Yesterday I went to my daughters and we had fajitas (chicken and beef) with all the trimmings, homemade Spanish Rice that a co-worker gave David the recipe for and desserts left from the day before plus another cake.

Tonight I’m having homemade taco soup. Good for the cold weather we are having.

So much food and family time.
    Merry Christmas friend

  2. Well, Gary, I love your humble feast menu. At my hosts’ home, in soggy Guernville, CA, we had stuffed prawns with crabemeat, lamb, squash, kale, rolls with butter laced with whip cream, and more. I made a mincemeat pie. My daughter in law had no idea what is was. I have to say I have never had a buttermilk pie. The most special part was enjoying extended family including 3 dogs, 2 lively little ones and a bunch of adults. Now I am exhausted and relaxing back in Oakland before heading back to Chicago. I wish you and Dorothy and family continued joy and blessings in the gift of life in the new year. Sara
